For starters, we are not approved as “channelers”. A channeler is a company that is specifically approved by the government to collect your fingerprints, submit them to the FBI and initiate your FBI background check.
With that being said, a channeler is NOT an apostille expediter. An expediter has systems in place to apostille your FBI background check in under a week and sometimes even the same day.
To obtain the fastest FBI background check, we would recommend using Printscan located minutes from our office at 75 South Broadway in White Plains. Printscan no longer accepts phone or drop-in appointments. To make an appointment, click https://www.printscan.com/location/white-plains-ny/ – the current fee for your fingerprints and FBI Background Check application is $90/plustx.
Printscan can also send one of their fingerprint techs to your home or office! For this you may want to call them at (631)782-1700. They no longer have a “direct” White Plains number.
For the fastest turn-around time, we recommend you request a PDF version of your FBI background check. When you receive it, you’ll be able to securely upload the PDF on our application page at apostilleapply.com for immediate printing and apostille.
On apostilleapply.com, you can order services such as translation, color scan-to-PDF and FedEx to the country of your choice. We handle every facet of your apostille and final application process.
On a side note, many of our requests also involve marriage licenses when applying for second citizenship and golden VISA programs. If the country is requesting a current marriage license, in place of the original, you must apply for this document yourself. In Westchester County, this process is done through the Westchester County Clerk’s office on Martin Luter King Blvd in White Plains. In New York City, it goes through the Department of Health. To find out who issues certified copies of your marriage license (or birth and death) always call the County Clerk in the jurisdiction where the original certificate was issued.
